Samaa tv livestation2/25/2023 ![]() ![]() In 2020, former provincial minister, Aleem Khan, acquired Samaa TV from Jaag Broadcasting Systems through his subsidiary real estate company, Park View Limited. Samaa TV was founded in 2007 by Jaag Broadcasting Systems (Pvt) Limited. It is broadcast simultaneously from five major cities of Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta and Peshawar. The word 'Samaa' ("سما") is Urdu for 'sky' or 'heaven'. It is the fourth-largest news channel in Pakistan with a market share of 7 percent. Livestation viewers can add channels from a directory, and may add their own choice of channels to the directory (limited to Windows Media streams).Samaa TV ( Urdu: سماء) is a Pakistani Urdu language news channel owned by Aleem Khan. Livestation broadcast streams encoded in VC-1 format (Livestation is not currently using peer-to-peer). The apps were available in the iPhone AppStore and stream the live TV channel 24/7 on both Wi-Fi and 3G connections.
